back on track?....

Hopefully all this new snow will melt by monday night ( so tired of the snow - not exactly motivating)
alright then:
Monday night 645 greenlake - speedwork? - to be determined by those who show up - who's planning on being there?

And then who would like to plan the other runs this week?
We need a 6-8 mile run on thrusday night.
And saturday I think we are due for 18 miles?

Good morning! I am in for tonight, but not sure I am ready for speedwork. A longer run on Thursday sounds good too. I am going to pitch the Cedar River Trail again for Saturday. Takers?

I can't make it tonight after all, but hope to be there on Thursday and will absolutely be wherever on Saturday. I'm not familiar with the Cedar River trail. Is it hilly at all? I'd prefer some hills if possible... yes, I like to torture myself. :)

Does the Cedar River trail have any soft surface trail along the side?
I was thinking soft surface since it's 18 miles. The only spot I thought of was the Lake Youngs Water Shed, but wasn't excited about it because of all the hills (sounds like Lauren would love it). Is it 9 miles around or further?
Cedar River trail is fine for me too.
I can't make it Thursday night. We are having our rescheduled office party that night.

I will not be able to make it tonight, but am interested in the longer run on Thursday (wherever it may be). I have never run on Cedar River Trail and would be interested in trying it.

Lake Young is rather hilly and a nice soft surface, but could be REALLY muddy. It is just over 9 miles around so it would be two loops. The nice thing about that (for me, at least) is water could be replenished at cars, but there are no bathrooms :(

My toe nail is painful (& ugly) - not sure if I'll make it tonight- I'll call if I'm going to show up

I plan on running Thursday night - do we have a start location?

On Saturday -

At Lake Young there is a honey bucket a little bit off the main trail at the north(?) parking lot - a little less than a mile from where we start. but other than that - there are bushes. I'd like to get the hill training in.

Cedar River trail - where would we start? I've only cycled there, but I don't remember a consistent soft surface on the side (but I could be wrong) There are bathrooms/honeybuckets at Ron Regis park - but I'm unsure of other potty stops

I won't be at GreenLake tonight. Jen and I are going to run tomorrow morning.

I'm planning to run 5 on Thursday. Let me know if you are planning to run as a group and I'll start with you all.

I have to work Saturday morning (bleck) so I'll be running on my own again this weekend :-(
