I think quite a few of us are planning on doing Onionman. Plus there's the Seattle Rock 'n Roll marathon at the end of June (one week after the Victoria Half). Of course, I'm really looking forward to swimming with everyone again once the weather warms up.

Congrats on a great race, everyone! Was a fun weekend. I'd love to keep running with y'all (haha, picked that up in Austin). :) I'll be out of town Mem. day weekend so no Onionman for me. My next official race is the Birch Bay Road race (30k on April 4th) if anyone wants to head up to Bellingham with us. Scott and I are making a weekend of it. Then Sunflower on May 4th and Rock N Roll of course. I'm also really looking fwd to those Wed evening swims in Angle lake this summer! I probably should get on my bike at some point too, so maybe a group ride one of these days?

whew - I'm revived - took a couple long nights of sleep to feel good again (marathons are tough!)

I'm ready to start thinking of what's next - and I want to get faster at the 1/2 marathon distance! so planning on a run schedule w/ some speed work and hills (Lake Youngs anyone?)

thinking about MercerIsland 1/2 3/22 or Whidbey 1/2 3/29 and Eugene 1/2 marathon 5/3 - but I'm open to suggestions (I'd rather run a race w/ friends to celebrate w/) - Lauren what is the Sunflower?

Planning on starting Angle lake swims mid May - brrrr!

Then Onion Man and Victoria

I would like to do the mercer island half, I would prefer the whidbey though if more people want to go - it is a beautiful course.
Can't wait for wednesday night swims, but need to get alot of pool time in first.
Would love to do saturday morning rides/runs with everyone. Not up to youngs lake this week but maybe next saturday?

Sunflower is a 21.7 mile trail run in the Methow Valley (Mazama to Twisp). We will stay at the KOA in Twisp. They shuttle the runners to the start. Post-race feast is at the Twisp River Pub. You can also do a relay but it requires a coed team with 1 person over 40 and 1 person under 14. Details at: http://www.mvsta.com/summer/sunflower.html

I'm back and ready to get focused on another great goal and training with all of you. The training for the marathon and the trip to Austin were great thanks to all of you.
The things I have committed to between now and the end of June are: Onionman, a Grand Canyon Hike (~45 miles in three segments), and America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride (around Lake Tahoe--100 miles).
The other things I'm thinking about, but haven't commited to are:
Livestrong Ride--100 miles
Seattle Rock and Roll marathon
Yakima River marathon OR Whidbey Island (probably 1/2)--I'd rather do Yakima River because I hear it is beautiful.
As you can see, I'll need workouts in all areas.
