So are we all at the same hotel? Which hotel am I staying in? I'd like to call and find out if there's a coffee maker in the room (or maybe someone already knows the answer to that). I definitely have to have my pre-race caffeine. :)
We're going to have a blast this weekend! I'm really looking forward to getting out of Seattle for a few days and all of us having a great run on Sunday. And of course, the post-race celebration! Woot!
See you all at the airport... or are some of us on other flights than the 1:30 departure? How many of us are going anyway?

My sister Susan and I are on the 1:30 AA flight (Mary Kay is flying United) - the three of us have a room at the Hyatt (host hotel).
Barb has the other hotel reservations - and would know about the coffee pot situation
Our group includes:
Emily
Andrew
Jen
Melinda
Barb
Jeff
Me
Susan
MaryKay
& You (Lauren!)
Sarah H - I believe she isn't going with us due to rehabing her stress fracture. But I don't know what her final decision was.
I'm getting nervous and excited
I am on the 1:30 flight as well. And staying with Barb, Jeff, Lauren, melinda - but not sure what hotel we are at. Barb was kind enough to take care of all the reservations.
Since we are almost all on the same flight we should be able to share a shuttle to the hotel.
And then we need to find someplace to celebrate melinda birthday.
You guys are all going to have a fabulous race!!
Jen, Melinda, Barb, Jeff, and Lauren will be in two rooms at the Embassy Suites http://embassysuites1.hilton.com/en_US/es/hotel/AUSLKES-Embassy-Suites-Austin-Downtown-Town-Lake-Texas/index.do
It looks like there are coffee makers in the room.
Andrew and I are landing around 10.15pm and are staying at Embassy Suites as well. We will call when we get to the hotel to meet you at whatever bar you are at celebrating Melinda's birthday!!!!
Our cowbells will be there in spirit.
I just made reservations for Susan, MaryKay and me at Embassy Suites.
As long as we can cancel the Hyatt w/o penalty - we will all be in one location. Should make logistics easier. And I'm all about easier.
I hope mile 21 to 26.2 are easier than my nightmares are making them seem!
I'm ready for a weekend away!
:)
Lee - you shouldn't have any nightmares. You have done such an incredible job this season that I have no doubt you will finish strong on sunday! You are ready - those last 5 miles are all mental!
They may be mental, but don't run them on your head!!
Thanks for the hotel info and link, Emily. Happy to hear they have coffee makers too. Looking forward to a fun weekend with y'all! See you Friday...
I want to wish the fabulous Austin team the best of luck with the race on Sunday. I know that you will all have a fabulous run. Relax, have fun and just enjoy yourself (as much as possible) on the course. You've already put in the hard work; all you have to do now is finsh. Have a wonderful time!!!!!
Love lots,
Sarah A.
