Congratulations to Emily

Just 7 weeks after Austin, Emily went out and ran Whidbey Island marathon on her own. Way to go Emily, you did great. I'm proud of you and very impressed.

I'm running the Kirkland 1/2 5/10 - will you be joining me?

Blu Water for pancakes and bloody mary's afterwards?

She was awsome and her blisters are epic.

You girls are so sweet! Whidbey was a lot of fun and really beautiful, despite the hills and the nasty blisters I got after. (I am going to the podiatrist on Wed to see if there is anything to do to prevent my blisters).

I won't be running the Kirkland 1/2, but I plan to volunteer at it. Andrew might be running it, though. So, yes to the pancakes and bloody marys. I am planning on runnning the Windermere Marathon in Spokane on 16 May. We can blame me signing up for that one on Lauren.

I guess I am seeing how many marathons I can rack up this year...:)

Nice job Emily! but sorry to hear about the blisters...have you tried the Injinjis yet? I'm telling you THEY WORK! I'm also going to do the Spokane half on the 16th. I'll be staying with friends, but let's all try to meet up.

Congrats, Emily! How are your blisters healing? Hope they are doing OK.

So I'm still strongly considering Windermere if I can work out logistics. I'd prefer to leave my car at home. It sounds like you (Emily & MaryKay) are both visiting people there and won't want to drive back on Saturday after the race. If I were to hitch a ride TO Spokane with one of you on Friday, I'll either find another ride home or maybe even fly... would that work for either of you? :)

MaryKay- I did get some Injinjis and tried them out this morning on a 2 mile run. I will try them out on Saturday on a 10 miler... It would be great if we could meet up in Spokane.

Lauren- You are more than welcome to ride with us on Friday, as long as you don't mind sitting next to a bike wheel. (Andrew will be bringing his bike). But there will be plenty of room for you and bags.
