Many of us met through Team in Training for the New Balance 1/2 Iron Triathlon in June '08. 2010 is the year of IM Canada for some of us. This is a place for us to stay connected as we continue to train and race.

Kirkland half marathon
Hello everyone,
Will I see any of you at the Kirkland Half Marathon this weekend, it looks to me like it will be warmer than it was last year but alas the hills are still the same!!
I'm hiking 20 miles Saturday, so I don't think I'll be running Sunday, but I was planning to meet Debi and Lee (both running) for breakfast after the run and BluWater. Are you able to join us?
alas - I am working mothers day brunch on sunday. But I have the opening shift... and would love to join you for breakfast depending on time, if you have room for another.
Absolutely! Everyone is welcome at breakfast. Debi talked about calling for reservations, but I'm not sure if she has yet. We weren't sure what time the race started when we talked about the reservations, so we were a little unsure of the appropriate time. 11 sounds good. Sounds like reservation for 7 people to start. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.
I called BluWater and they are booked until 2:00 so sadly we have to have a plan B. I don't have one so am open. There is a pancake place in the QFC plaza where 24hr fitness and TGIF is. Not sure if that is an option but given Mother's Day we may have slim pickins. If someone has an idea great! Other wise we can meet up and hook up via cell phones and pick a place. See you all at some point tomorrow!
It will just be me on Sunday no Dennis and Kristin. We could go to the Brown Bag but they do not take reservations. I hope to be done with the race by about 9:30 (2 1/2 hours) so watch for me at the finish line!! my cell is 2068184755

I'm not exactly ready (for 13.1) but it will be a great day for a challenging run.
Deb and I plan on running together
