Saturday July 25 - 12 miles on Burke Gilman
I am scheduled to run 12 miles on Saturday. Since I am running the Torchlight 5K in the evening, I want a flat easy run. I thought running on Burke Gilman would be nice and flat, and would give me the practice dodging people. I'll be leaving Matthews Beach around 8.30 am. Anyone interested in joining me?

Yes! I'm supposed to run 14 but also running torchlight so I think 12 sounds good!
What do you think about starting at Matthews Beach, so we could wade in the water after?
how fun! I want to join you, but my heel isn't cooperating (getting an xray on Friday).
If I get the ok to "run" seafair on Sat night - Do you have plans to meet up for the start? if so, let me know the time/place
I am fine with Matthews Beach...I am sure Andrew can tell me where it is!
Lee- I am not sure where we are going to be for seafair, but i'll post something as soon as I know. I need my eyepatch ;)

I'm signed up for the torchlight run... not sure if I will do it because I'm doing a 75/15 brick on Sunday, but let me know just in case.
Andrew won't be doing the torchlight because he is doing the 75/15 brick. I will still be running it! I am planning on getting to packet pickup by about 5. I am not sure of a good spot to meet, though. I am open to any suggestions. I'll have my cell phone with me...

I am doing the torchlight as well. I think a 5 pm packet paick up is good. Let's definitely coordinate the pre or post meet up place. See you all Saturday!!!
Emily and Sarah, I'll be there at Matthew's for the 12-miler tomorrow morning. I'm also doing Torchlight. Are y'all doing the 5k or the 8k? I'm signed up for the 8k but wonder if I could switch if everyone else is doing the 5k. Think I'll take the bus downtown to avoid parking headaches. Would love to grab a beer/snacks after the run either in the beer garden or elsewhere... Fun!
I'm in line at packet pickup. Still haven't decided if I'm running :)
