What a great weekend with friends. I am so impressed with how well everyone ran the 20 miles and the blister comparison afterward. And a very special thanks to Karin, Dennis and Jacob for their great support. I think the 'run' was harder on you guys than it was on us. Thank you all for a great weekend, Austin is going to be great.
We missed those of you who weren't able to make it. I hope you all had great runs too.
I am assuming we are not doing a group run Monday night. How about Thursday night? My schedule is for 6.

Sorry I missed out on the fun this weekend. I missed out on the long run entirely due to a chest cold. Oh well, no time to make it up, only to forge ahead. Can't believe it's so close already!
I plan to stay inside a few days to make sure my lungs can tolerate the cold but hopefully I'll be ready for outdoors again by Thursday. Where do you think you'll run, Melinda?
yes - thank you Karin, Dennis and Jacob - it was fabulous to have all of your support, and with the distance broken up the way it was, it made for a great 20 miler ( even with those mountains we ran).
I am still recovering from all those hills on the fab course that Karin planned out! What a great way to cover 20 miles. I'll be up for 6 miles on Thursday. Preferably six flat miles ;)
It is one thing to run in the cold, but biking in it was truly tough!!
Emily - I'm actually buying your story about "hills are my friends" as they allow sets of muscles to rest! While I'm tired and somewhat stiff - I feel reasonably ok today!
I'll be in Flagstaff AZ (Thurs to Sun) for some sunshine and competitive crafts :)
Yes I'll be taking my running gear and will get my miles in - yahoo for 50F and sunny!
Emily, It looks like you and I are the only ones considering a run Thursday night (Lauren's out). If you want to stay close to home and run on your own, that's fine with me. I had no particular route planned.
I am just going to run by my work tonight. See people on Saturday? I have 12 miles on my schedule...any ideas for a route? Maybe Burke-Gilman starting at GasWorks (flat, flat, flat) or something on the eastside?
