Hello all,
I hope your training is going well. We did our first brick with the TNT group today. Amazingly we stayed dry.
Next weekend I will be in Arizona running the 1/2 marathon. I am sure there is still room if any of you want to join me!!
Since I will be gone next weekend I wanted to check with all of you on details for the 25th. First I need to know how many coming are vegetarians and how many eat meat.
The second question is what time do you want to start? If we base the start time on the schedule for the Edmonds/Kingston Ferry we have the following options for Sunday morning Ferries:
7:10; 8:40; 9:20; 10:10; and 10:45.
If you take this Ferry the crossing is about 30 minutes and then the drive to our house is about 25 minutes so we could start the run at a minimum 1 hour after the scheduled departure of the Ferry.
My recommendation is that you take the 8:40 boat or drive around (takes about 2 hours from Seattle) and arrive at about 9:40 and we start the run at about 10:00.
I look forward to seeing you all on the 25th, or earlier at swim practice on Monday night.

Andrew can (and does) eat just about everything, meat included. I am a vegetarian (no meat or fish, but I do eat eggs and dairy) with a goofy number of food allergies. I am allergic to bananas, apples, almonds, and stone fruit (eg, peaches, cherries, plums).
I'll eat about anything (ok not lima beans)
If it doesn't create any problems, I vote for an early start - It's going to be a long day for me and I'm happy to start w/o support (maybe the faster folks can start later)
Could the 7:10 ferry and a 8:30 start work?
I can eat anything. Couple questions - okay so this is a sunday run right? If we wanted to drive over saturday evening - where would be a good place to stay? And dinner on sunday - is like a late lunch after we finish? I have to be home sunday evening because I work monday morning.
Lee - want to carpool?
I'm not going to be able to make it on the 25th after all... :(
If you want to start early, how about everyone comes over Saturday night if you want to. The house is big (4 bedrooms plus an office that can be a small bedroom and a futon in an open area.) Then we could start early. Honestly the house is plenty big so no problem staying with us.
Dinner is a late lunch, I am thinking vegetarian chili and a meat chili with cornbread and rice and a berry pie. If you come over Saturday night bring something for dinner and your normal breakfast item.
Karin - what's your website? I still need to make my donation.
Sounds great Karin, I am a meat eater, but am happy with vegitarian also.
Thanks so much for planning this for us.
Jennifer the web site is http://pages.teamintraining.org/wa/nbhtri09/knyrop
