Well, it looks like most people voted to do 2 loops of Youngs lake. Ya'll really like pain don't cha? Probably the better choice anyways since the cedar river trail is probably flooded at 3-4 spots as it runs right along the edge of the river at several spots.
Shall we set up a self serve water stop at our cars? I can bring an ice chest - that we can put in extra waters, gatorade , energy bars, gu's, IBprofen? And if we do one lap each directions - then we'll at least see each other once out there.
Let's start at 9am. Who's planning on coming? And for those of you who occastionally join us - feel free to come and only run one loop - we won't torture you with two - but would love to have you join us!

I plan to be there. I decided this morning that sitting around won't pop my hip back into the right place so I might as well run on it and see if that works. 9 AM is great. Anyone north of downtown care to carpool?
I am in and carpooling sounds good to me, Lauren.
Love the idea of doing the second loop in the reverse direction - I'll be there
Emily and I will be there. I also like the reverse direction idea.
I'll be there. I suspect it will be incredibly muddy, but not flooded. The Cedar River trail is closed as it is completely flooded in places and the adjacent highway is closed due to flooding. Yikes, 18 at Lake Youngs.
Barb, Lauren, and Andrew, feel free to start up a half hour to hour later than us. You'll still finish at the same time. :)
I'll be there.
Could I get directions to Lake Youngs? I thought I saw some really nice directions in an earlier post, but I can't find them now...THANKS from the directionally challenged runner...
Directions
From seattle take I-5 south to I-405 north(heading east).
Exit onto HWY167 south.
Take first exit SW41st st
Go left at the light, and then take a left at the next light crossing over HWY 167 ( road is called sw43rd and S180th st)
Go up the hill past the hospital. Road changes names several times eventually becoming SE petrovisky.
Just over 3 miles from HWY 167 take a right on 140th Ave Se ( the Fairwood shopping center is on the opposite corner - this is also the coffee location for afterwards)
Go left on SE 181st St ( 0.3 miles from petrovisky)
At 0.5 miles it will turn to the right and become 148th Ave Se - on the left side there will be a gravel area where you can park your cars
